In the game Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, smelting plays a pivotal role, particularly for those aiming to advance in crafting, trading, or enhancing their Blacksmithing abilities.
It’s all about turning raw ore into valuable bars that can be used for crafting or sold for profit.
If you’re a beginner at smelting or aiming to enhance your expertise, this tutorial is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals and maximize the potential of your resources.
How To Smelt
The first step to smelting is getting the schematic you need.
This schematic is a guide for smelting specific materials, such as copper and other ores.
In the primary crafting districts, you can purchase an essential Ore Smelting Blueprint from vendors such as Haley Ren.
A small charge, approximately one silver and forty-six coppers, is required for this transaction. Ensure you have sufficient gold on hand to complete the exchange.
Once you have the schematic, you can start working with basic metals like copper.
Once you grab the blueprint, you should study it thoroughly. To accomplish this, navigate to your inventory, then right-click on the blueprint to absorb its knowledge.
After doing so, your character will gain the ability to smelt basic ores.
Now that you know this, you can start turning copper into bars and check out other ores as you go.
To get started with smelting, you’ll first require unrefined minerals, often obtained by the process of mining.
Choosing a mining career means you’ll be responsible for extracting various minerals hidden within nodes spread throughout the globe.
In case mining isn’t your thing, you have options such as purchasing ores from other players via the marketplace, or even engaging in a direct trade with them instead.
Initially, copper ores are abundant, but as your smelting abilities improve, you’ll discover that you’ll require additional ore types, including nickel, iron, and rarer ones like asherium.
After gathering enough ore, go over to a smelting station.
These stations are often located close to blacksmiths such as Sad Flintfinger, who frequently visits the forges found in large urban areas.
When you reach a smelting station, click on it and select the smelting option.
Once selected, you have the option to pick the ore for processing. In essence, the smelting process is straightforward: Simply click on the ore you desire to refine and then press the ‘smelt’ button.
However, smelting can be hit or miss when it comes to perfect bars.
The smelting process can go either way – you might get crappy bars or end up with perfect ingots.
After the ore has been melted into bars, there are several options available. You could utilize these bars for crafting purposes, or alternatively, trade them with other players.
