John Cena embarks on a journey with some special companions and their favorite cars in the preview for his automobile-themed talk show, “What Sparks Your Passion” on Roku Originals.
In this clip, Cena mentions to Blink-182’s drummer, Travis Barker, that his customized Mercedes Benz G-Wagon 4X42 resembles an assault vehicle. Later, they take a ride in this massive off-roader.
In Nashville, Cena travels beneath the vehicle’s hood alongside country artist Jelly Roll, and during their ride in Jelly’s RAM 1500 Laramie, he listens to his story of transformation from a convict to fatherhood and fame. “As soon as my wife and I settled into a secure, good school district for our daughter,” the heavily tattooed music star candidly shares in the trailer, “I turned things around.
As Cena prepares to move on from his professional wrestling career with WWE, he has taken on leading roles in the movies “Blockers” and “The Suicide Squad.” He’s also been featured in several installments of the “Fast & Furious” series, starred in the comedy thriller “Argylle,” appeared in the upcoming “Barbie” film, and had a guest appearance on FX’s “The Bear.
Now, his talk show trailer features John Cena alongside Logan Paul in Puerto Rico, visiting Paul’s boxing gym and taking a ride in the Ford Bronco owned by the pro wrestler. Additionally, Cena expresses surprise at Michael “The Miz” Mizanin’s Tesla Model X Plaid, having been a former rival in WWE.
The series titled What Drives You is manufactured by Leftfield Pictures, a division of ITV America. David George, Shawn Witt, Sean Moran, Jay Bienstock, Cena and Dan Baime serve as executive producers for the show. Meanwhile, Sean Boyle is in charge for Roku Originals.
