The long-awaited Second Closed Beta for Duet Night Abyss has begun! This beta test is now live on both PC and mobile platforms, running until July 2nd. During this phase, players can enjoy a wealth of new content such as new characters, enhanced gameplay mechanics, captivating storylines, and enticing rewards to kick-start their gaming experience.
Nestled in the frosty expanse of Icelake, the last Chapter-Based Test (CBT) of Duet Night Abyss introduces the upcoming narrative thread, “Children from the Snowfield.” You embark on this journey alongside the main character, exploring a shrouded city marked by eerie tunes and the ominous Charon Hunt. As you delve deeper into the mystery, you’ll encounter seven fresh characters, each with connections to the escalating conflict that will further unfold the story.
Improvements have been made to both combat and gameplay in all areas. This time around, we’re really focusing on increasing enemy density and improving impact feedback, making battles feel more intense and strategic. There are over ten new weapons at your disposal, such as the Embla Inflorescence – a lethal lock-on weapon perfect for precise takedowns – and the Guixu Ratchet, which releases a massive spinning blade that swiftly cuts through foes.
Additionally, a fresh strategic option called Immersive Theatre is available, where you can tinker with team compositions and tackle progressively harder levels. If you’re more interested in relaxed play, you can delve into leisurely modes such as the Avian Spirit Trials, Advensphere quests, and Paniemon captures, which deepen the game’s backstory.
