7UP® Is Bringing Snow to the Hottest Cities This Summer

7UP® has taken over seven global cities this summer with a unique digital campaign.

As a warm-weather enthusiast, I can’t help but notice the sweltering summers that seem to get hotter by the year. A fascinating study recently conducted by our favorite beverage brand unveiled some striking findings – 79% of people confess that their everyday tasks feel prolonged in this heat! It’s not just me, then, who finds myself moving at a snail’s pace when temperatures soar. In countries where thermometers often hit an average of 38°C, an overwhelming two-thirds of folks would prefer to be enveloped in a cool blanket of snow instead of enduring the scorching heat! It seems we’re all united in our quest for relief from the summer’s relentless grip.

As a consequence of these findings, 7UP initiated its most recent “7 Days of Extraordinary Summer” campaign. Leveraging local artists, the brand transformed some of the sweltering urban areas into winter wonderlands. Whether it’s a rooftop in Dubai or a marketplace in Cairo, the snowy transformation is triggered by opening a can of refreshing 7UP.

In relation to our recent digital campaign, Senior Marketing Director Salman Butt expresses, “For social media activation, we aimed to create something more than just humor or shareability. We wanted it to provide an instant sense of rejuvenation as well. This aligns with 7UP’s essence – a burst of freshness, fun, and refreshment, offering a momentary respite from the often overwhelming heat of the world.

In addition to their current campaign, 7UP has introduced two fresh new tastes to complement their classic lemon-lime flavor. The “Mint Mojito” flavor will debut in Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, while the United Kingdom can look forward to a raspberry flavored “Pink Lemonade”.
