For those who play Elden Ring, be prepared! The Everdark Sovereigns, a new batch of tougher bosses from FromSoftware, will be arriving in Nightreign towards the end of this month. So, it’s time to stock up on supplies and sharpen your skills!
In the city of Limveld, beginning July 31st, a fresh wave of Everdark Sovereigns will make their appearance, marking the commencement of a new Everdark cycle. This time around, four familiar figures – Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog – are due for an upgrade to boss status.
For the previous rulers of Everdark, FromSoftware has consistently followed a weekly release pattern (or schedule). However, it remains uncertain whether they will stick to this rhythm again or which Everdark Sovereign will debut first. Nevertheless, FromSoft’s teaser image suggests that Libra, the Balancing Beast, is all set for combat.
The veil thins, and the Night hungers still.
On July 31, 2025, a new Everdark cycle shall begin; the enhanced Nightlords Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast and Fissure in the Fog will soon unleash their darkest powers upon Limveld.#ELDENRING #NIGHTREiggn.ru

I’m wondering if this change might impact Libra’s Faustian deal mechanic in any way, but regardless of whether it involves a pact with a devil, these encounters could turn out to be quite challenging. Tricephalos isn’t an easy opponent, and the Fissure in the Fog battle is known for its complex mechanics that tend to catch less experienced players off guard. If the bosses become more powerful, things could get intriguing indeed.
Thus far, the Everdark Sovereigns have been met with favorable responses. While the challenge levels differ due to individual upgrades and enhancements, it appears that FromSoftware has creatively reinvented each of Elden Ring Nightreign‘s main bosses in an intriguing manner.
The pace at which Elden Ring: Nightreign is being updated resembles that of Monster Hunter, with a consistent flow of patches and additional content since its release, making the game progressively harder over time. It’s intriguing to speculate about the future plans for Nightreign by Bandai Namco and FromSoftware, as well as when any downloadable content might become available.
