Adrianne Palicki is working from home for her next project.
In this film, the actor famous for “Friday Night Lights” and “John Wick” takes the lead in “Remote,” a chilling horror-thriller directed by Steven DeGennaro, who is known for his work on “Found Footage 3D.” The story follows Palicki’s character, Jules, a woman who has isolated herself in a 30-foot trailer for the past seven months.
In my gaming world, when the monotony of endless video calls and disconnected moments with my spouse became unbearable, I found solace in a unique online platform where people share live feeds from their window views. Little did I know that this seemingly innocuous escape would lead me to an unsettling discovery – a murder happening right before my eyes on one of these streams. Now, it’s up to me to use all my cunning and tech savvy to unmask the killer before they track down their unwanted observer. A predator who is aware someone is watching, and will go to extreme lengths to keep his dark secrets hidden.
As a gamer, I’m part of a dynamic team bringing this game to life. I, DeGennaro, am the one who’s written the script, and my studio, The Ubiquitous Studio 42, is producing it. Alongside me, there’s Cameron Burns, Ashleigh Snead, and Aaron B. Koontz from Paper Street Pictures who are also producers. Charles Mulford of Impeccible Pictures and Jessica Perrin are also part of the production team. Lastly, Scott Weinberg and Josh Raby are co-producers in this exciting venture.
Filming for the movie titled “Remote” has been completed and it is currently in the post-production phase. The movie stars Roger Guenveur Smith, Chris Johnson, Josh Cruddas, and Jessica Perrin alongside others. This film serves as director Brett DeGennaro’s second production, following “Found Footage 3D” which premiered on the festival circuit in 2016 and eventually found its home on horror streaming service Shudder.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but marvel at the captivating journey of Adrianne Palicki. She truly shone on the iconic 2000s football drama “Friday Night Lights,” and her remarkable career has seen her grace the small screen in series like “Agents of Shield” and appear in blockbusters such as “G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
