As a long-time fan of Childish Gambino, I’ve been eagerly anticipating his latest album, “Bando Stone & The New World.” And let me tell you, this visual for “Lithonia” only fueled my excitement even more!
The artist, after putting out his last album as Childish Gambino titled “Bando Stone & The New World,” has now shared a music video for the song “Lithonia.”
In this video, directed by Jack Begert, Gambino takes center stage with his band. Alex Wolff beats the drums behind him, and Ludwig Göransson strums the guitar. Nearby, observing the rehearsal, is actress Suzanna Son.
Towards the end of the melody, events suddenly grow ominous and apocalyptic – enter Son, dashing through the woods in terror.
The new album from Bando Stone, titled “The New World,” came out on Friday as Gambino’s fifth studio release. In an interview prior to its launch, Gambino shared that this project was influenced by a movie concept he had developed years ago. This idea revolved around a musician creating his magnum opus on a secluded island, only for a catastrophic event to occur globally.
