Acecraft tier list – Become a Top Gun

Acecraft has a charming, old-fashioned art style similar to Cuphead, but the gameplay is fast-paced and action-packed like a bullet hell shooter. It’s a nostalgic experience that’s also genuinely fun. The game features a variety of characters, but some are more powerful than others. This tier list will help you pick the strongest options.

This tier list provides a complete overview of each playable character – called pilots – and ranks them based on their abilities. Each pilot controls a unique aircraft.

While some pilots are more enjoyable to use than others, it really depends on what you like. To help everyone have more fun, we’ve ranked all of them! We’ve put the best pilots in the S-tier, and those that need some improvement in the C-tier.

Don’t worry too much about what others say – if you enjoy a character and how they play, go ahead and give them a try!

About this Acecraft tier list

Since there are three different types of pilots (Sharpshooters, Crushers and Vanguards), I have decided the best approach is to rank them all into one tier list, so you can pick the role you like and also see how well that particular pilot ranks next to the rest.

1 Elsa

Her special ability is incredibly powerful, unleashing a dual machine gun blast of fire that quickly damages enemies, especially bosses. What really sets her apart is her unique move that enhances her attacks after she absorbs projectiles from pink enemies. She’s simple to learn, making her a fun and easy character to play.

2 Jerry

Jerry’s Ultimate ability is incredibly powerful. It makes him temporarily invincible and then unleashes six bombs that each hit a wide area. His Main Cannon is also very effective, as it fires two shots at a time and can be further improved.

His special move lets him throw pies after taking enemy pink attacks. This works with his natural ability, which throws fruit at opponents depending on how many pink attacks he’s absorbed.

3 Joey

Joey’s Ultimate ability turns both him and his plane into a massive drill, allowing him to powerfully charge forward through opponents. His main cannon is very effective, firing three split projectiles in a wide cone. His Stunt ability is a smaller version of his Ultimate, launching mini-drills at his rivals.

Okay, so this pilot is seriously fun to watch and incredibly powerful! But honestly, his style isn’t going to click with everyone. He’s still one of the best, no doubt, but there’s a bit of a learning curve – especially if you’re used to someone like Ekko. It’ll take some getting used to, but I think it’s worth it!

4 Tom

Tom, the classic cartoon cat from Tom & Jerry, pilots a unique aircraft – it’s shaped like a massive pair of bellows! His special attack, or Ultimate, sucks trash towards the screen, damaging any opponents it hits. This is a particularly powerful Ultimate because it can inflict a lot of damage across the entire screen.

His Main Cannon launches marble projectiles that hurt enemies and explode when they hit. This means it can damage multiple enemies at once – just make sure you aim correctly! His special move and abilities are also great at hitting several targets. His special move damages enemies it passes through, and his ability creates multiple TNT packs that explode.
