Bleach Soul Resonance tier list (December 2025)

Bleach: Soul Resonance does a great job of capturing the personalities of each character through their unique abilities and Bankai. While Ichigo is a fan favorite, some characters have a bigger role in this game than they did in the original manga and anime.

This tier list will help you figure out which characters are the strongest in Bleach Soul Resonance. Getting the best characters can be tough, as the chances of getting rare ones (like Ichigo’s Bankai form) are very low. But let’s focus on the rankings for now. You might get lucky and pull him quickly, and that would be a great start!

Bleach Soul Resonance tier list

In this article, you can learn which of the SSRs are excellent, but also which of the SRs are worth investing in, since these are the ones you will max out first.

Okay, so as a fellow player, let me tell you – definitely save up your Spiritual Jade for the Limited Time banners! That’s where they release the really powerful characters. You really want to try and get at least one of them. If you can grind it out and do about 80 pulls, you’re guaranteed to get the character you’re aiming for, which is awesome!

Now let’s dive into the actual tiers!

S tier

  • Ichigo Kurosaki – Bankai
  • Kisuke Urahara
  • Toshiro Hitsugaya

In this Bleach Soul Resonance tier list, Bankai Ichigo is clearly the strongest character. He’s able to tap into his Hollow abilities, and his signature move, Getsuga Tensho, is incredibly powerful.

Okay, so as a fan, I’m telling you, Urahara is AMAZING! He’s right up there with Bankai Ichigo in terms of how much damage he can dish out, but honestly, he’s way more chill to play. Plus, he’s a team player – his Passive, Reishi Analysis, stacks every time you use his skills, giving everyone on your team a boost. It’s a really smart way to play!

A tier

  • Byakuya Kuchiki
  • Yoruichi Shihoin
  • Kaname Tosen
  • Ikkaku Madarame
  • Yachiru Kusajishi

Okay, so if you’re a Bleach fan like me, you know Rukia, and Byakuya is her brother! Honestly, his power, Senbonzakura, is just breathtaking – it’s seriously one of the coolest looking abilities in the whole series. And his special move, the Thousand Blade Funeral? It’s unbelievably powerful, and depending on the fight, it could even be considered top-tier!

Yachiru is the lieutenant of the 11th Division and is frequently seen with Kenpachi, a very popular character in Bleach. In Bleach Soul Resonance, she’s a support character who can both damage multiple enemies and increase her teammates’ attack power. She’s particularly useful because you can quickly switch her into and out of battle to activate her abilities.

B tier

  • Sajin Komamura
  • Rukia Kuchiki
  • Yasutora Sado (Chad)
  • Ichigo Kurosaki – Shikai
  • Orihime Inoue
  • Uryu Ishida
  • Ururu Tsumugiya

Yasutora Sado, also known as Chad, is a durable fighter who can recover health using his Ultimate ability. Similar to his role in the manga, he functions as a “tank” – someone who can withstand a lot of damage while still being effective in combat. He can also control the battlefield by disrupting and moving enemies with his Technique.

Orihime is a support character, and excels at keeping her teammates alive. She can protect allies with a damage-blocking shield and provide crucial healing with her ultimate ability. If your team needs a support, Orihime is a solid choice – that extra healing can be a lifesaver!

C tier

  • Ichigo Kurosaki – Initial
  • Renji Abarai
  • Nemu Kurotsuchi

Okay, so when you first start the game, you get Ichigo Kurosaki – his starting version. Honestly, he’s pretty weak at the beginning – nowhere near as strong as when he uses his Shikai! It’s actually like that in the manga too, which is why he starts out this way. And they also include Renji, who is one of my absolute favorite characters, but yeah, he’s a bit on the weaker side too, unfortunately.

If you happen to get Renji early in the game, he’s a good character to use for a while, but he won’t be as effective later on. Nemu, on the other hand, isn’t worth using at all – her abilities are too weak. It’s better to focus on leveling up Ururu instead, as you also obtain her through the story.
