In this unique game that involves summoning characters, it’s not common for one character to outshine another. While some may seem weaker (A-rank), they can still contribute significantly, especially in Player vs Environment (PvE). Therefore, they remain valuable additions to your team.
Despite the fact that all have their unique strengths and weaknesses, certain ones may prove more effective than others in specific situations. Consequently, we’ve developed this Fate War tier list to aid you in making informed choices when enhancing your characters. Keep in mind, though, that the rankings are subject to change over time.
In the game Fate War, certain characters appear according to seasons, and as you continue playing, new ones become available. This implies that our article will be updated based on the latest, most advanced server version currently available.
Focus on a single character from the start!
Some friendly advice. I suggest you start by focusing on one single character from the beginning. Be it Selena, Rex or Reynald, they can all work. Since Reynald is easier to obtain, he has a lot of potential, even though you might have to spend some Gems to reset the Talent Points.
Go ahead and utilize this guide whenever you find it convenient. And remember, to collect some complimentary Gems, don’t forget to redeem the most recent Fate War code!
1 S+ Tier
- Erin
- Reid
- Helda
- Amaterasu
Amaterasu is an incredibly powerful character. She can inflict damage that ignores the defense or damage reduction of her opponents with her Judgment ability. Once she activates her Reflective Light passive, there’s a good chance she’ll retaliate by sending the incoming damage back to her foe. Because of these reasons, Amaterasu holds the top spot in our Fate War rankings.
Helda excels at inflicting significant damage on opponents and limiting their ability to heal themselves. By doing so, she also increases her own Damage Per Second (DPS). When paired with Kaira, Helda is particularly effective because she can prolong the duration of negative effects on enemies, which further enhances their overall performance together.
Erin is an exceptional soldier specialized in cavalry combat. She has the ability to dish out enormous damage on individual targets, which makes her an ideal teammate for Selena. Versatile in her application, Erin can be effectively utilized in a wide range of game scenarios, including player-versus-environment (PvE) and player-versus-player (PvP) situations.
2 S Tier
- Vista
- Reinhardt
- Kaira
- Iris
Kaira inflicts rapid burst damage, momentarily blinding opponents and lessening the harm they can inflict. She synergizes wonderfully with Axe-wielding troops, and it’s optimal to combine her with Reinhardt. This is because Reinhardt consistently boosts Kaira, while she in turn debilitates enemies.
As a devoted healer, I find myself primarily focused on keeping my comrades intact, a role that becomes indispensable in tight spots. However, due to her specific nature, Iris may not be an absolute necessity or a go-to choice (depending on the opponent), which is why she lands in this tier.
Vista is typically paired with Skerne for resource collection. She offers a robust support system, boosting her allies’ attack (ATK) and defense (DEF), while simultaneously lowering the attacking power and defense of opponents.
3 A Tier
- Voll
- Selena
- Kalthas
- Karl
- Kiana
Kiana has the ability to manage crowds by controlling enemies, yet she’s also capable of healing teammates and offering valuable assistance based on the circumstances. She functions exceptionally well in tandem with Reinhardt.
As a raging gamer, I wield the mighty Voll, the berserker who packs a punch without compromising defense. With my High Morale passive, I have the uncanny ability to bypass an enemy’s defensive stat, but it’s essential that my allies keep their health low for me to unleash my full potential.
Selena deals reasonable damage and, thanks to her Valkyrie’s Rage passive, she has the ability to produce a substantial amount of Rage. By enhancing soldiers of the cavalry class, she can become an elite-level character.
4 B Tier
- Aelfwine
- Sara
- Reynals
- Rex
- Linda
Sara’s equipment is quite simple yet versatile. It allows her to inflict damage and weaken opponents simultaneously. Typically, she works well in tandem with Reinhardt, as she can impose weaknesses on enemies, and Reinhardt can reinforce himself.
Linda may not be an exceptional top-tier character, but she excels in her role. She pairs well with Kalthas due to their complementary abilities; Kalthas weakens opponents, while Linda functions as a secondary damage dealer and buffer.
Rex is excellent, and together with Karl, they form a strong, unyielding defensive line in Fate War. Their skills work seamlessly, and since they’re both more robust, they create an outstanding front line.
5 C Tier
- Elena
- Skerne
- Sigrid
- Baldur
- Elia
In the C tier, you’ll find characters that aren’t particularly useful as the game progresses. Mostly, they fall under B-rank, with a few exceptions reaching A-rank. I would advise against investing time or Talent Points in their upgrades.
