On any typical day, it’s not uncommon to find fit and trim Los Angeles residents waiting outside the gym even before the doors open. However, the line that amassed within the Beverly Center on Wednesday indicated a unique event was taking place.
Gold’s Gym, renowned fitness center, unveiled its latest branch, a sprawling 33,000 square-foot flagship outlet within the mall. This new Gold’s location is designed to offer an enhanced workout experience, boasting Atlantis Strength equipment, a specialized area for booty training (colloquially known as the “glute factory”), a turf training zone, an in-house juice bar, separate zones for cardio and free weights, sauna, steam room, among other facilities. For those night owl gym enthusiasts, this Gold’s location operates 24 hours a day from Tuesday through Friday – a welcome change for those who’ve expressed concerns about limited late-night options since the pandemic.
Originally, the first 200 visitors who came in on Wednesday were each given an exclusive Gold’s Gym gift bag along with being enrolled into a raffle for a complimentary one-year membership at that specific location. However, if Wednesday’s weekday event wasn’t convenient, a grand opening event is being arranged for September. This will include food, games, and fitness activities. Further information regarding these plans will be shared soon, according to Gold’s Gym.
