K-pop Stars BTS Release First Live Album ‘Permission To Dance On Stage’ (Exclusive Photo)

BTS recently came out with their first group album in three years titled “Permission To Dance On Stage — Live“. This marks their return following their military service, as they now offer a live album from the same named tour that was completely sold out.

This extended album, approximately an hour and 20 minutes long, contains 22 tracks from the supergroup’s 2021 tour. The tour took place in three cities: Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, with a total of 12 shows. Initially, the tour was held online due to COVID-19 restrictions, but as restrictions eased, it evolved into a live experience. According to a statement, the tour attracted around 4 million attendees through in-person events, live broadcasts at nearby venues (such as YouTube Theater in L.A. and the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas), and online livestreaming.

BTS Live on Stage – Permission To Dance showcases BTS classics such as “DNA”, “Idol”, “Fake Love” and “Boy With Luv (with Halsey)”, alongside beloved tracks like “Black Swan”, “Spring Day”, “Airplane pt. 2” and “Silver Spoon”. The album includes the group’s three English singles – “Dynamite”, “Butter” and “Permission to Dance”. Purchasing the album grants fans access to a digital code for a live recording of BTS’s Seoul concert.

At the start of this month, the seven-member band made their first group appearance in almost three years via a livestream on Hybe’s Weverse fan platform. During this broadcast, they revealed their plans for what lies ahead after completing their military service. BTS shared with fans that they will be traveling to the U.S. to commence work on new music, which is expected to hit the airwaves in spring 2026. Moreover, the global sensation also unveiled plans for a world tour next year, marking their first such event since Permission to Dance on Stage.

In the upcoming year’s spring, we’ll unveil a fresh BTS album. From July onwards, all seven of us will collaborate intensely to create new tunes. As it is a collective effort, the album will embody each member’s unique thoughts and perspectives. We’re approaching this project with the same spirit we had when we first began our journey together.

Until 2026, it appears that the BTS members are carrying on with their previously planned individual projects. The eldest member, Jin, has just begun a two-night solo tour at Anaheim’s Honda Center, starting from July 17. Meanwhile, J-Hope, who completed his own solo tour not long ago, headlined Lollapalooza Berlin last weekend (July 13).

In late April this year, all BTS members gathered together for the first time since 2022 at J-Hope’s final concert in Goyang, South Korea. This reunion brought an end to a hectic week for the band, as RM, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook had been released from their military service earlier that week, joining J-Hope and Jin who were already out. Suga concluded his mandatory military service as a social worker the following week, which marked the official resumption of active duties for the group.

Fans of BTS have been eagerly waiting for their comeback, as each member managed to achieve individual success during their two-year military service through their solo projects. In their first livestream since September 2022, BTS garnered more than 7.3 million concurrent views, as per a recent announcement.
