As a long-time admirer of art and music, I’ve always been captivated by the fusion of these two realms – and Colm Dillane’s latest venture with Dead & Company perfectly encapsulates that synergy. With his extensive experience in both fields, it’s no surprise that Dillane’s “Touch of Color” painting is a masterful blend of The Dead’s legacy and his unique artistic style.
As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share that it was Colm Dillane who breathed life into KidSuper, basing its core on the fusion of fashion and art. To this very day, he personally hand-paints the vibrant artwork adorning KidSuper’s clothing line.
Dillane’s striking artwork, titled “Touch of Color,” seems to pay homage to the band’s “Touch of Gray” in its name. This masterpiece, viewed through his unique artistic perspective, represents the enduring influence of The Dead. Additionally, it features symbols from songs like “Fire on the Mountain” and “Bertha.”
