Ugh, RNG gachas, right? As a gamer, I’m totally hooked but also constantly stressed by them. It’s always a gamble leaving my team’s success up to chance, but when I actually pull a good hero, figuring out who’s actually worth building is the real challenge. Which heroes are a must-invest, and which ones should I just pass on? It’s tough! Need a guide?
This Seven Knights Re:Birth tier list ranks all Rare and Legendary characters. We’ve categorized them into tiers based on their effectiveness in both PvP and PvE content.
A few things to know before we dive in…
Unlike many other gachas out there, rerolling isn’t an absolute must in Seven Knights Re:Birth. The heroes you get for free – plus the ones you get from summoning a few times – will surprisingly be good enough.
As you’ll find in the following sections, only Legendaries and Rares really matter. Legendaries are the strongest, and Rares are quite good. You’ll begin the game with some particularly strong Rares, meaning you can make good progress in PvE without needing to endlessly chase a specific hero.
Which are the best heroes in the game?
Depending on the content you want to clear, some of the heroes are arguably better than others. Obviously, you’ll want to level up the best ones that rank higher here, but keep in mind that the meta could change. So, I recommend you keep some resources in your back pocket in case a new top hero comes that needs some attention.
Also, to help you get the most out of the game, be sure to redeem the newest Seven Knights Re:Birth codes! These codes will give you free heroes and lots of useful items to keep your team strong and performing at its best!

Let’s start with Knox, who is, in my opinion, the strongest tank currently available for both PvE and PvP. Since I added him to my team, he’s been essential for completing all challenges. He’s so effective because of his taunt ability and his resistance to damage, which, as you can imagine, is incredibly useful.
Rachel and Ace are popular choices for players starting the game. They excel as support characters who can apply buffs and debuffs, effectively reducing enemy DEF or increasing their team’s DEF.
If you’re looking to inflict damage to multiple enemies – especially in PvE content – Teo is a great hero to aim for. He’s considered one of the best heroes in Seven Knights Re:Birth. Reaching his maximum rank gives him a 100% Critical Hit Rate, and that’s not all! He’s a hero you should definitely try to obtain whenever his pull rate is boosted in the gacha system.

Evan, Yui, and Lucy are excellent rare characters to use for support. They offer a range of benefits – both defensive and offensive – and can even provide healing. If you don’t have a Legendary character who can fulfill this role more effectively, I suggest prioritizing one of these. Plus, it’s great that you’re guaranteed to obtain them.
Yui is possibly the strongest of the three, thanks to her powerful healing abilities and the fact that she can grant immunity to burn. Plus, she has a revive skill just in case things get tough.
When it comes to dealing damage to multiple enemies (AoE), Rei can be a very strong choice. He inflicts poison, which is damage dealt over time, and this is particularly effective against enemies that have a lot of health.
That wraps up our Seven Knights Re:Birth tier list. Having a strong team is important in any game, so you might also want to check out our Acecraft tier list, or even our Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra tier list, to help you create the best possible squad!
