Czapek Reveals New Place Vendôme Complicité Timepiece in Stardust Cobalt

As a dedicated fan of Czapek’s watch creations, I am utterly enamored with the latest addition to their Complicité Stardust collection: the Place Vendôme Complicité Stardust Cobalt. Having had the privilege of experiencing the previous editions, I can attest that this new timepiece is a testament to Czapek’s unwavering commitment to horological excellence and artistic innovation.

Building on the heritage of Czapek’s Complicité Stardust and Harmony Blue timepieces, the esteemed Swiss independent watchmaker has introduced an alluring new creation in horology: the Place Vendôme Complicité Stardust Cobalt edition.

In a casing of white gold, there is a timepiece measuring 41.8mm in diameter. Its dial, a gray openworked one, showcases a double escapement regulator. Xavier de Roquemaurel, the CEO of Czapek, expresses the allure of this design by bringing the intricacies of the double escapement mechanism to the forefront. He explains, “The essence of this concept is revealed through the placement of the differential at 12 o’clock as a focal point and the exposure of the mechanism on the dial side. This results in an exquisite kinetic sculpture.”

The intricate detail emerges on the watch’s lower part, adding a hint of gold to the pristine face, while its jewels and blue indices and hands adorn the dial. At its heart, this timepiece boasts a remarkable capability to keep running for three full days – a feature attributed to its manual-winding Calibre 8 mechanism.

The Place Vendôme Complicité Stardust Cobalt, priced at approximately $92,919 USD or 85,000 CHF, is a limited edition timepiece with only 100 units produced. It can be purchased through Czapek and their authorized dealers around the world.
