This thrilling project, helmed by director Megan Nicole Dong – renowned for her creative genius behind the Netflix animated musical series “Centaurworld” – is currently under production in the bustling city of London. Warner Bros. revealed that Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, the Tony Award-winning team behind “Six” and the upcoming London West End musical “Why Am I So Single,” will pen the tunes for “Bad Fairies.” Moreover, Isabella Summers, a Grammy-nominated musician known for her work with Florence and the Machine, will create the score and produce the songs.
In a modern spin on musical comedy, the film “Bad Fairies” introduces a mischievous band of rule-breaking fairies residing in present-day London. Deborah Frances-White, the popular podcast host of “The Guilty Feminist,” penned the script for this rebellious and enchanting tale. DNEG Animation collaborates as digital partners on the production. At present, the voice cast has yet to be disclosed.
