As the show transitioned into different categories, she earned additional nominations in 2017, 2019, and 2020 for Drama Series. In an incredible turn of events, MJ Rodriguez made history by becoming the first trans performer to receive a Lead Actress Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Blanca Evangelista in “Pose.”
