Louis Vuitton's Luxurious Chocolate Shop Expands to China With New Shanghai Location

As a devoted fan of both Louis Vuitton and exquisite chocolates, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the latest expansion of Louis Vuitton’s Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric to Shanghai! Having had the privilege of visiting their branches in Paris and Singapore, I can attest to the sheer indulgence and luxury these chocolate shops offer.

Approaching the Chinese Valentine’s Day (Qixi) celebrations in just a few weeks, Louis Vuitton has unveiled its first luxurious chocolate store in China. This is only the third location for the brand, following stores within LV Dream in Paris and at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The latest expansion brings Louis Vuitton’s Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric to Shanghai.

Nestled in Taikoo Li Qiantan shopping mall, the new Louis Vuitton chocolate shop opens perfectly for the Qixi festival in early August this year. This store embodies indulgent elegance, introducing Louis Vuitton’s iconic brand elements to its dessert outlet. The interior boasts a lush, tropical design with tall wooden trunk displays adorning the entire shop from floor to ceiling, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The Vivienne mascot and Petula pet lion figures proudly take center stage, adding a delightful touch to the setting.

At the store, every chocolate item bearing the distinguished Louis Vuitton logo is up for sale. These delectable goods are airfreighted straight from Paris, guaranteeing top-notch quality and meticulous craftsmanship. Chef Frédéric’s shop, marked by a petal monogram design, sits in the mall’s core. In an announcement, he expressed his intentions for the expansion: “We aim to draw inspiration from Shanghai’s unique culture and way of life. Soon, we will introduce bespoke creations tailored to this city, such as for Chinese New Year. Sharing the delight and pleasure of these gourmet chocolate treats is essential to us.” The public can purchase the chocolates priced between $30 to $448 USD starting July 23.
