I recently posted a picture on my social media feed where I’m seen mingling at a lively house party with some dear friends. My Mohra star is gleaming in the snapshot, and you can tell she’s having a great time. Among the familiar faces gracing the event are my daughter Sonali Bendre, actress Neelam Kothari, and journalist Shalini Sharma, along with many other beloved acquaintances. I titled this post “The week that was!” as I’m grateful for the company of friends and family. The warmth and love around me makes every moment better – old or new!

Raveena Tandon explores the ruins of Pompeii during her Europe vacation
On July 21st, I had the privilege of visiting the ancient city of Pompeii, which lies shrouded in ashes. As I explored this tragic site, I couldn’t help but make mental notes of its heart-wrenching history. In a lengthy post, I expressed my awe and sadness, exclaiming that when Mother Nature unleashes her fury, humanity is left defenseless.
Her caption continued with the thought, “Walking among ruins and museums, I feel so delicate against nature and the universe’s mighty powers, yet mankind believes itself to be all-powerful.” A few days past, Raveena shared peeks of her Budapest adventure and a mermaid-like reel from her time at the beach. Raveena Tandon recently appeared in “Patna Shuklla,” a legal drama helmed by Vivek Budakoti, now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Joining her in the cast were Manav Vij, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Satish Kaushik, Anushka Kaushik, and Jatin Goswami, among others. Upcoming projects include “Welcome to The Jungle,” directed by Ahmed Khan.
