Podcasting Company Lemonada Launches Imprint With Simon & Schuster

As a devoted fan and avid listener of podcasts, I am absolutely thrilled about Lemonada Media’s new publishing imprint with Simon & Schuster, Lemonada Books! The opportunity to delve deeper into the stories and conversations from my favorite Lemonada podcasts in book form is an exciting prospect.

Podcasting company Lemonada Media is launching a publishing imprint with Simon & Schuster.

As a voracious reader and podcast enthusiast with a soft spot for stories that explore the human condition, I’m thrilled about the recent partnership between Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, and the podcasting network to create Lemonada Books. This collaboration strikes me as an innovative way to bring compelling narratives from popular podcasts straight to the page, allowing readers like myself to delve deeper into the stories we love and connect with the hosts in a new light.

In simpler terms, “Fail Better” is a talk show where actor-director Duchovy engages in discussions with renowned guests about the theme of experiencing and learning from failures.

As a writer and a survivor of loss, I find the concept of “Last Day” deeply resonant. The story behind this project is inspired by Jessica Cordova Kramer’s personal experiences with losing her brothers to opioid overdoses. I can only imagine the pain and grief that comes with such a loss. The fact that she and her team at Wittel and Lemonada have chosen to center their work on the final days of those lost to opioids, gun violence, and more, is a testament to their commitment to telling important stories and shedding light on issues that affect so many lives.

“Jonathan Karp, CEO of Simon & Schuster, expressed his excitement about podcasting being an engaging platform for storytelling, insightful discussions, amusement, and valuable knowledge. He is thrilled about collaborating with Lemonada to develop books based on their successful podcasts, broadening their reach to avid readers through the classic medium of books.”

I’m thrilled about Lemonada Media’s diverse lineup of podcasts!

“Our goal is to make life more bearable for a large number of people, primarily through podcasts while also exploring other audio formats. We’re excited to broaden our reach and accomplish this mission in collaboration with Simon & Schuster and the Gallery team. Lemonada Books will undoubtedly enrich readers’ lives in numerous ways,” said Jessica Cordova Kramer, CEO and co-founder of Lemonada.

Publication dates for both titles will be announced at a later time.
