As a long-time gamer with a soft spot for puzzle games and a penchant for immersive narratives, Arranger has easily become one of my favorite discoveries in recent times. Coming from an indie studio named Furniture & Mattress (yes, really), I was initially skeptical about its potential, but the game quickly proved me wrong with its vibrant art style, catchy soundtrack, and a unique premise that combines puzzle-solving with role-playing elements.

Furniture & Mattress’s puzzle RPG, titled Arranger, is now available on Android and iOS via Netflix Games. If you’re seeking a change from conventional puzzle games where you’re dropped into an abstract setting to solve challenges, then Arranger with its vibrant characters and catchy tunes might be just what you need.

As Jemma, a villager-raised orphan with a remarkable gift of altering the layouts of her surroundings and their contents, you embark on an adventure to delve deeper into the vast unknown and potentially uncover the secrets of your past.

To achieve that, she’ll require honing her skills, while you’ll need to assist her. But be warned, the path is not without challenges – there are monsters as well as intriguing puzzles to confront.


Rearranging

In our first take on Arranger, we praised the game, and since it’s available for free on Netflix (if you have an account), we can’t prevent you from trying it out. Although some may see comparisons to Braid as a drawback, rest assured that this title is packed with innovative concepts alongside classic elements.

As a gamer, I can tell you that Arranger offers something unique and captivating for those of us who love abstract puzzle games. With a rich storyline added into the mix, you’ll find yourself deeply engaged in this world of shifting pathways.
