As a dedicated fan of both streetwear and breakdancing, I couldn’t be more excited about this latest collaboration between Futura and Nike! It’s not every day that we see such a perfect fusion of culture, art, and sport.
Partnership between Futura and Nike leads to a line of clothing for breakdancing, benefiting both the brand and professional dancers participating in the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
Based on the earlier revealed Nike Jam partnership, where Futura unveiled a unique breakdancing shoe for this year’s Olympic Games, these items will now be used as uniforms during the competitions. Athletes representing Team Japan, Team USA, and Team Korea will wear them.
As a fan, I’m thrilled to share that this collection offers a variety of options: jackets, hoodies, long-sleeve shirts, and T-shirts. The color choices are classic and timeless – black, white, beige, and blue. What makes these pieces truly special is the addition of Futura’s iconic graffiti graphics, Nike’s recognizable swoosh logo, and the national flags representing one of the three beloved teams.
Take a look at the complete selection displayed in the image above. The Nike NSW Breaking Collection in collaboration with Futura will be released for purchase starting August 1, through Nike and selected stores.
