As a long-time gamer and avid fan of both movies and interviews, I can’t help but be in awe of Harrison Ford‘s ability to captivate audiences with his unique blend of charm and grumpiness. His recent appearance at San Diego Comic-Con was no exception, as he once again demonstrated why he’s a Hollywood icon with his perfect response to a seemingly innocuous question.
Harrison Ford, renowned actor from Hollywood, maintains his endearing grouchiness, delighting us with witty responses. Recently at Comic-Con in San Diego, he provided a classic Harrison Ford response to an apparently foolish question (EW). In the near future, Ford will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, taking on the role of Thunderbolt Ross in “Captain America: New World Order.” This movie is expected to introduce the malevolent Serpent Society. Notably, Indiana Jones, one of Ford’s iconic roles, features him battling snakes fiercely. During an interview with EW, Ford was asked which character handles snake encounters more effectively – Indiana Jones or Thunderbolt Ross?
Just as anticipated, Ford dismissed such obvious nerdy behavior with a remarkably witty and memorable response during the interview, drawing from his vast experience.
“I’ve given these questions equal parts serious consideration and dismissal throughout. I won’t be responding to what seems like a foolish query, but I appreciate your posing it.”
The enigmatic Ford, who exudes charm yet can be dismissive, warrants further exploration. Though he may lack the inclination to engage in a discussion about snakes, the “Star Wars” actor was evidently enjoying himself at SDCC, showing great energy and excitement as he took the stage for an exhilarating appearance.
Harrison Ford Will Transform Into Red Hulk in the MCU
In the upcoming “Captain America: Brave New World,” it’s been officially announced that Harrison Ford will assume the role of Thunderbolt Ross, previously portrayed by the late William Hurt. Notably, Ross is now the President of the United States, and in this storyline, he transforms into the Red Hulk. During San Diego Comic-Con, a sneak peek of Red Hulk was unveiled, depicting Ford’s transformation using CGI. The red face resembling Ford adds an exciting touch to the character’s appearance.
In a past interview last year, Ford feigningly dismissed a question about his character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by asking “what is Red Hulk?” Now, in a more recent interview, he confesses that he was merely acting confused at the time.
“I was aware of that hidden fact, which I found fascinating to keep to myself. Sadly, it’s no longer a secret for others to know. However, I remain curious about the activities of the Red Hulks.”
Several people have pondered over why Ford, infamous for his dislike towards his role in the “Star Wars” series, has chosen to be part of another big-budget production? At San Diego Comic-Con, however, the actor explained his reason as simply wanting to be a part of the enjoyable experience.
I’ve had the privilege of observing these talented individuals bring Marvel characters to life with ease and enthusiasm. Having watched respected and accomplished actors thrive in their roles, I couldn’t help but feel envious and inspired. I yearned for that same level of enjoyment and fulfillment. And fortunately, I was given the opportunity to join their ranks.
Under the guidance of Julius Onah, this upcoming film titled “Captain America: Brave New World” features an impressive cast including Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford. It is slated for a theater release on February 14, 2025, as part of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Five.
