One Life (2023)
Streaming August 5
A film titled “One Life” tells the real-life story of Sir Nicholas Winton, a British humanitarian and London stockbroker. In his twenties, Sir Winton saved more than 600 Jewish children from the clutches of the Nazis in late 1938. During a trip to Prague, he encountered many families who had managed to evade the Nazi persecution in Germany and Austria.
When it seemed that Sir Winton and his team were on the brink of despair, they became resolved to rescue as many children as they could. Throughout his life, Sir Winton carried a heavy burden of guilt for not having done more for them. The film weaves together the stories of a 79-year-old Sir Winton, portrayed by Anthony Hopkins, and a 29-year-old Sir Winton represented by Johnny Flynn. Beginning Aug. 5, One Life can be streamed on Paramount+.

Sasquatch Sunset

Title “Sasquatch Sunset”: A Humorous Spin on Bigfoot Folklore
Breathe
Streaming August 27
In the year 2024, Breathe takes me on an exhilarating sci-fi journey with Milla Jovovich, Common, Jennifer Hudson, and Sam Worthington leading the way. Although this film doesn’t follow the typical sci-fi script, it teaches a valuable lesson that resonates deeply: no matter how dire the situations we find ourselves in as humanity, our collective strength prevails.
In the future depicted in the film, which is helmed by Stefon Bristol, Earth has grown uninhabitable due to insufficient oxygen. Maya (Hudson) and her daughter Zora (Wallis) reside beneath the surface, relying on a custom-made oxygen suit designed by Maya’s missing husband, Darius (Common). One fateful day, two enigmatic strangers knock at their door, asserting they hold information regarding Darius’ whereabouts. Suspicious but hopeful, Maya invites them in. However, these newcomers turn out to be anything but who they appeared to be. Can Maya and Zora adapt and endure?
