Shelke, who presides over Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) cases, issued a standing non-bailable warrant for their arrest, indicating that they are to be apprehended without delay if found.

As stated in the court documents, Gupta admitted to carrying out the crime as a result of his family’s financial struggles. In his statement, he conceded, “I believed I wouldn’t be caught by the police, but I was apprehended nonetheless.”
