As a long-time fan of Eva Longoria and someone who has spent countless hours trying to achieve salon-quality hair color at home, I am absolutely thrilled about the L’Oreal Colorsonic! The convenience and ease this device offers are truly life-changing, especially for those of us who have struggled with messy color jobs in the past.

As a seasoned beauty enthusiast with years of experimenting with various hair dyes and colors, I must admit that the convenience of home hair coloring has always been a double-edged sword. On one hand, it saves time and money; on the other, the mess and potential mistakes are never-ending. That’s why I was thrilled to hear about L’Oreal’s latest innovation, the Colorsonic, which promises to revolutionize the at-home hair coloring experience.

Originally exclusive to the L’Oreal website, the L’Oreal Colorsonic is now being sold at Target stores and online for $125. For a limited period, certain cartridges are discounted to $29.99 (originally $31.49), offering enough product for a full application or three touch-ups along with an after-color conditioner. Currently, there are 20 color options available: three black, five blonde, ten brown, and two brown/red. These formulas are free of ammonia, parabens, phthalates, SLS, SLES, and silicones. L’Oreal aims to expand the color range to up to 40 choices in the future.

At the CES 2024 event, where L’Oreal served as the main speaker, Eva Longoria, their brand ambassador, showcased the Colorsonic remotely. She described it as both “life-altering” and “revolutionary” during her video presentation.

“The actress from Desperate Housewives shared her excitement about coloring her hair at home, during a pre-recorded video at CES 2024. She mentioned that she once found the process a bit daunting due to the preparations involved like gloves and towels. However, those days are over now. Currently, she uses Colorsonic by L’Oreal, an automatic hair coloring brush that mixes the color for her, all she needs to do is apply it. She finds it effortless, as her hands stay clean, and even coloring the back of her hair only takes five minutes – a huge reduction from the previous 30 minutes at home.”

As a seasoned gamer who’s also a bit of a beauty enthusiast, let me tell you about my latest discovery – the Colorsonic hair coloring device! I’ve tried all sorts of hair dyes and coloring methods in the past, but this one takes the cake.

L’Oreal initially revealed the device at CES 2022, and they officially showcased it during this year’s technology expo.
