The “Death of Superman” storyline has always been one of my favorites, and with Tom Cavanagh joining the cast, it promises an even more exciting twist.
In 2024, among the numerous shows wrapping up and getting canceled, “Superman & Lois” is making a grand exit for its final season. This fall, The CW’s DC series will air its fourth and final season according to the 2024 TV lineup, adopting the “Death of Superman” narrative. Additionally, Tom Cavanagh will join the cast for the series finale, much like his role on “The Flash,” implying limitless possibilities.
Known for portraying multiple versions of Harrison Wells on The Flash and also the Reverse-Flash (Eobard Thawne), it’s unclear at this time what role Tom Cavanagh will play in Superman & Lois, despite the show not being part of the main Arrowverse. Moreover, Jimmy Olsen, a key character in the Man of Steel’s world, will make his appearance, played by Douglas Smith. Although the primary cast for Superman & Lois has been reduced, it appears that Smallville is bustling with both familiar and exciting characters that fans are eager to see.
Viewers should mark their calendars for the return of “Superman & Lois” Season 4 on October 17th at 8 p.m. ET on The CW, as this will be actor Tom Cavanagh’s last appearance in a CW DC series.
