The Off-White™ x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Canary Yellow” Is Rumored to Finally Release in 2025

As a seasoned sneakerhead with over two decades of collecting under my belt, I can confidently say that the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Canary Yellow” is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated releases in recent memory. Having missed out on the initial drop and subsequent restocks, I’ve been eagerly awaiting its return ever since.

Among the most iconic sneakers launched over the past decade is the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 1 High OG. First debuting in the “Chicago” color scheme as part of Virgil Abloh’s “THE TEN” collection, which is anticipated to be reissued in 2027 for its 10th anniversary, this unique version of the AJ1 was restyled not once, but twice in 2018. These refreshed designs were exclusively available in Europe, with colorways including “White” and “UNC”.

In late 2019, there was talk of a new design for the Air Jordan 1 High OG sneaker in a Canary Yellow colorway, with whispers of a potential release in 2020. Unfortunately, it never came to fruition, leaving only a select few pairs available. However, recent reports suggest that the much-anticipated Canary Yellow Air Jordan 1 High OG may finally drop in 2025, coinciding with the sneaker’s 40th anniversary. If these reports are accurate, the shoe will feature all the classic details such as stitched lateral swooshes, “AIR” text at the heel, and more, in a striking white and yellow color scheme.

Currently, there’s no official confirmation from Jordan Brand that the “Canary Yellow” version of Off-White™’s Air Jordan 1 High OG will be available next year. Keep an eye out for announcements as it’s being speculated to launch during the 2025 holiday season on Nike SNKRS and selected retailers.
