As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for action-packed movies, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming sequel to Nobody, titled Nobody 2! The addition of Colin Hanks to the cast, alongside Bob Odenkirk and Sharon Stone, has me eagerly awaiting this bone-crunching, skin-splitting adventure.
Colin Hanks is part of the hard-hitting, flesh-ripping ensemble for “Nobody 2,” the sequel to last year’s unexpected success from Universal Pictures, which was produced by 87North.
In the upcoming series, Bob Odenkirk will once again play the character he made famous – a seemingly ordinary family man hiding his past as a skilled government assassin. On the other hand, Sharon Stone has been cast in the role of the cold-hearted antagonist. Meanwhile, Connie Nielsen and Christopher Lloyd are set to reprise their roles as the family man’s wife and father, respectively.
As a devoted fan, I’m eagerly anticipating the upcoming project where Tom Hanks is rumored to take on the role of a morally questionable sheriff, hinting at some rather dubious intentions. Details are being tightly guarded for now, but I can hardly contain my excitement!
As a devoted cinema enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto, recognized for his chilling horror and pulse-pounding action productions like “May the Devil Take You” and segments from the “V/H/S” series, is currently at the helm of a new project. This exciting feature is set to begin filming this month! The screenplay for this intriguing venture has been crafted by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Bob Odenkirk, and Umair Aleem. I can hardly wait to see what they’ve cooked up!
Actor Bryan Odenkirk is additionally working on the action thriller, collaborating with Kelly McCormick and David Leitch who are producing through their Universal-based production company, 87North. Marc Provissiero from Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Braden Aftergood of Eighty Two Films are also involved in the production process.
Universal has set an Aug. 15, 2025 theatrical release date for Nobody 2.
The studio is being represented by Universal’s Vice President of Production Development, Jay Polidoro, and their Director of Development, Tony Ducret, who are in charge of this particular project.
Recently, Hanks was part of an impressive cast in Paramount+’s limited series titled “The Offer“, which chronicles the production of the iconic film “The Godfather“. Moreover, he collaborated with Jake Lacy and Anna Paquin on the spooky Peacock mini-series “A Friend of the Family“. In the pipeline are James Vanderbilt’s historical drama “Nuremberg“, featuring Russell Crowe, Rami Malek, and Michael Shannon; as well as the indie romantic comedy “And Mrs“.
