EXCLUSIVE: Shraddha Kapoor reveals she 'fantasizes' about doing period films; 'Wish I could time travel to Guru Dutt's era'

As a die-hard fan of Shraddha Kapoor, I am absolutely thrilled about her upcoming role in Stree 2! Her versatility and talent never cease to amaze me, and I can’t wait to see her bring yet another captivating character to life.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always on the lookout for the multifaceted talents gracing our entertainment scene. One such gem is Shraddha Kapoor, who time and again demonstrates her versatility by taking on challenging roles that leave us awestruck. In the near future, you can catch her in Stree 2, a highly anticipated horror-comedy alongside Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.

As an ardent admirer of mine own work, I eagerly welcome your thoughts when asked about my preferred genre to delve into next! The enthusiasm you’ve shown is truly inspiring, as ideas like romantic comedies, action-packed adventures, heartwarming love stories, and even the potential continuation of Aashiqui have flooded my inbox. Rest assured, every single suggestion has been jotted down, and I am keeping a sharp eye out for productions that align with these genres. Thank you for your valuable input!

The actress from Ashiqui 2 stated that, as an actor, she aims to be involved in various genres, narratives, and roles. The long-awaited trailer for the sequel to Stree is now out, offering a thrilling blend of fear and laughter that fans have been excited about. The trailer brings back the famous Chanderi group, as well as an ominous new foe named Sarkata.

Upon her return, Vicky’s affectionate partner Shraddha encountered a fresh predicament: the malevolent Sarkata threatened to kidnap every woman in the village. Determined to rescue not only his dear one but also the villagers, Vicky assumed the position of the prince of Chanderi.

The trailer seemed promising with its blend of humor and spine-chilling horror scenes, featuring the original Stree cast. The makers have been keeping the buzz high with releasing songs from the movie as well.

Movie 2, titled thus by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan, is skillfully directed by Amar Kaushik and jointly produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande.

Apart from the thrill I got from Stree 2, I’ve been eagerly awaiting any official word from Shraddha Kapoor about her upcoming movies. Rumor has it that there are several exciting projects in the pipeline, but as of now, they remain unconfirmed.

Simultaneously, Rao was recently spotted in the film “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi” with Janhvi Kapoor. The movie received favorable responses from both audiences and critics. Coming up next, the actor will feature in “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video” alongside Triptii Dimri.
