First Look at the Nike Dunk Low "What The Duck" Collection

As a die-hard Duck fan with roots traced back to the very campus that birthed Nike, I can hardly contain my excitement for these upcoming “What The Duck” Dunk Lows! Being an alum of the University of Oregon myself, I’ve always had a soft spot for any exclusive UofO gear, and this trio is no exception.

The University of Oregon, being the institution that both Nike co-founders Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman studied at, has received numerous exclusive Nike designs throughout its history. This includes distinctive football uniforms and Air Jordan Personal Editions, among other Duck-themed clothing and footwear. Lately, items have been introduced by the school’s Ducks of a Feather (DOAF) initiative – a brand developed and marketed by University of Oregon student-athletes themselves.

As the 2024-25 academic year approaches, details about what DOAF has in store next have been leaked, and it’s something Duck fans won’t want to miss out on. A total of three unique “What The Duck” versions of the Dunk Low have been created in a limited edition of 5,000 pairs, as revealed by masterchefian. Images of two colorways have been unveiled, with inspiration drawn from the iconic 2007 SB Dunk Low “What The Dunk.” The designs feature a mix of University of Oregon-themed panels that differ between the left and right shoes, with “DOAF” emblazoned on the heel of the left shoe and the tongue of the right shoe, acknowledging the program’s role in their creation.

Currently, neither Nike nor the University of Oregon have disclosed any release details about their upcoming “What The Duck” Dunk Lows trilogy. Keep checking back for updates, including potential glimpses of the rumored third pair, as we anticipate all three versions of this shoe will become available through Ducks of a Feather.
