Heather Graham Joins Zazie Beetz in Horror Thriller ‘They Will Kill You’ (Exclusive)

As a dedicated fan who’s followed Heather Graham‘s illustrious career since her days as Rollergirl, I must say I’m thrilled to see her venture into the realm of horror with “They Will Kill You”. It’s not every day we get to witness such a versatile actress step out of her comfort zone and tackle new genres.

Actress Heather Graham is now part of the ensemble for the upcoming thriller “They Will Kill You,” a production by Noturna Pictures – a horror studio launched jointly by Skydance and the Muschiettis (Andy and Barbara) this year.

New Line is jointly funding and handling distribution for the upcoming film, with Kirill Sokolov set to direct during production starting in mid-September.

Zazie Beetz stars in the horror-comedy movie, titled “They Will Kill You“. In this film, she plays a character who accepts a job as a housekeeper in an enigmatic New York City skyscraper without realizing that it’s home to a community where several people have vanished over time. The production team has compared the movie’s tone to a blend of “Ready or Not” and “The Raid“.

Graham’s position is hidden away in the basement, yet she shares a roster with Academy Award-winner Patricia Arquette and Tom Felton, famously known as Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter films, among the apartment dwellers.

Sokolov and Alex Litvak wrote the script.

David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger will collaborate on producing the film “Longlegs,” through Skydance in partnership with the Muschiettis and Dan Kagan.

Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder serve as executive producers for the project Nocturna. They work alongside Sokolov, Litvak, and Carl Hampe in their supervisory roles.

Graham boasts an extensive and diverse professional background, yet her resume is not heavily populated with horror films. Interestingly enough, she recently appeared in a couple of chilling productions over the past year, including “Suitable Flesh,” directed by Joe Lynch.

After appearing in “Place of Bones,” a Western film set to premiere in selected theaters and digital platforms like PVOD on August 23, she will follow up with “Chosen Family,” a humorous drama that she both wrote and directed. This movie, which had its first showing at the 2024 Santa Barbara Film Festival, is being distributed by Brainstorm Media and is scheduled for theater release on October 11.

Graham is repped by Paradigm, RMS Production, and Morris Yorn.
