CLOT Adds a Beaded Three Stripes Logo on the adidas Gazelle in "Blue Bird"

As a seasoned sneakerhead with decades of collecting under my belt, I can confidently say that Edison Chen’s CLOT collaborations with adidas never cease to impress. The latest addition to their lineup, the “Blue Bird” Gazelle, is no exception.

Not long after releasing the “Halo Ivory” version, Edison Chen’s brand CLOT maintains its momentum with adidas by introducing a fresh take on the Gazelle model, dubbed “Blue Bird”.

Drawing inspiration from espadrilles and European cobblers’ expertise, this sneaker boasts a knitted khaki base, adorned with nubuck leather overlays and intricate beading on the Three Stripes panel, which features varying shades of blue. The exposed stitching above the midsole, tongue edges, and heel also add to its charm. The brand is subtly represented by an embroidered Gazelle panel insignia, avoiding traditional placements on the tongue and heel. A braided and stitched midsole enhances its rustic appearance, while the gum rubber outsole provides additional traction. Lastly, tan and blue laces complete the design for a cohesive look.

Since ending their partnership with Nike, CLOT has swiftly expanded its collaboration with adidas, launching their adaptations of the Superstar and Samba designs in February and May of 2024.

The CLOT x Adidas Gazelle shoe model, known as “Blue Bird,” goes for $160 USD. You can get it through an online raffle on August 12 at JUICE’s website, and later in a physical raffle at their stores on August 16. The shoe will be widely available through Adidas starting August 23.
