Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 murders fan-favourite character

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I’ve seen it all – from the rise and fall of gaming titans to the rise and fall (and rise again) of various in-game characters. And let me tell you, Fortnite has always been a rollercoaster ride that never fails to surprise us.

1. We can’t seem to tire of Fortnite’s Marvel partnerships, and even though we keep hoping for a DC season at some point, we’re quite content immersed in the comic book turmoil of the Avengers. The forthcoming Chapter 5 Season 4 aims to surpass the adored Chapter 2 Season 4 as one of the greatest seasons yet, and given its promising appearance, it seems destined for success.

Following the controversial response to the third season of the automotive chapter in Fortnite, which some even labeled as the worst ever, there is hope that Chapter 5 Season 4 will restore its positive image. We’re anticipating a Battle Pass filled with popular Marvel characters, however, it appears one significant character may be absent from this upcoming season.

Fortnite looks like it’s murdered the Fantastic Four

As a die-hard fan, I can hardly contain my excitement as the previews for “Absolute Doom” keep pouring in, revealing intriguing new locations like The Raft prison and Castle Doom. However, it’s been pointed out by HYPEX that there’s been a gruesome murder mapped out on the game. Fortnite has had its fair share of offing beloved characters (rest in peace, Bushranger), but who could have foreseen the cold-blooded murder of Benn Grimm?

Keen-eyed spectators have noticed that the reappearance of Doctor Doom disguised as The Wanderer has resulted in him exacting retribution on Marvel’s original family, the Fantastic Four. Primarily recognized as The Thing, Ben Grimm forms one fourth of this legendary team, and Doctor Doom is arguably their most renowned foe.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but marvel at the chilling symbolism of Doom’s throne in Castle Doom. Much like King Aegon the Conqueror’s Iron Throne being adorned with swords from his adversaries, it seems that the materials used for Doom’s throne are fragments of the shattered remains of The Thing. This eerie parallel suggests a chilling implication: just as the Iron Throne symbolizes Aegon’s triumph over his enemies, Doom’s throne might stand as a macabre trophy, hinting that he has vanquished that stone-hard superhero and converted him into an emblem of his dominance.

The question arises: If Ben Grimm has suffered such a tragic end, what implications could this hold for the remaining members of the Fantastic Four? Is it possible that Fortnite is following the trend set by Deadpool and Wolverine, leading to another grim fate for Johnny Storm? This speculation stems from Ako Fortnite News, who posits that the new POI (Point of Interest) called “Fantastic Felled” could be hinting at their defeat.

Despite being absent from the initial trailer, there are theories that Marvel’s Family could make an appearance during the mid-season through a Mini Pass. It’s plausible that this season’s secret skin will be based on Marvel characters, given Matt Shakman’s Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to release next year. With Disney and Epic Games recently forming a partnership, it seems they might kickstart the excitement for the Fantastic Four early.

In the realm of multiverse chaos and alternate selves, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that if The Thing has perished in this dimension, another version of him might leap from the Battle Bus before the season ends. If Fortnite delivers official Fantastic Four skins that outshine the counterfeit ones, they’ll undeniably be a stellar addition to the team!
