As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for streetwear and a soft spot for Yohji Yamamoto’s avant-garde designs, this collaboration between Y’s and New Era has me thoroughly thrilled! The Fall/Winter 2024 collection is nothing short of a masterpiece, blending the iconic aesthetic of both brands seamlessly.
Yohji Yamamoto’s Y’s and New Era have unveiled their collaborative Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
As a devoted fan, I’m eagerly drawn to the collection spearheaded by the sleek Fitted Long Brim Hat, adorned in an all-black ensemble. This stylish piece boasts a 360° brim stretching an impressive 9 centimeters, and is elegantly crowned with the iconic 59FIFTY design. The front proudly bears the embossed Y’s logo, a testament to its authenticity. Accompanying this head-turner are the Ear Flap Pom-Pon Knit hats, available in chic shades of black, green, or white. Lastly, the Neck Pouch completes the ensemble with its minimalist design, proudly displaying the Y’s emblem on its closure.
Among the items featured in this assortment are the 9THIRTY model available in colors such as black, green, and brown, the Basic Cuff Knit item, a hooded sweater, a long-sleeved T-shirt with pockets, a cotton T-shirt, and a backpack.
The collaboration between Y’s and New Era for their Fall/Winter 2024 collection will be available starting August 21. You can find it in Y’s stores, authorized retailers, and on the New Era online store. Prices will vary from around $50 USD to $220 USD (equivalent to ¥7,700 JPY and ¥33,000 JPY respectively).
