Drake and NOCTA have made their foray into football with the unveiling of Venezia FC’s 24/25 Home Kits, which debuted recently. The team started its season this weekend, adorning kits created by Nike NOCTA, symbolizing a fresh start and a move away from their earlier partnership with Kappa.
it was revealed that the renowned Canadian rapper, Drake, has become an investor in Venezia Football Club, which recently partnered with APEX Capital, a global sports-focused firm. In July, APEX acquired a portion of the club and last week announced on Instagram that Drake is now part of the investor group for the team. Moreover, Drake will serve as the official sponsor for the team’s kits, with his Nike sub-brand NOCTA taking on this role. The Instagram post stated, “Iconic figure Drake has joined @veneziafc investor group, in conjunction with APEX, to finance the club before its Serie A season. NOCTA becomes the team’s official kit sponsor, marking a significant step towards the fusion of culture and sports.” According to Matte Babel, spokesperson for Drake’s management team, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Venezia FC, a team that embodies Venice’s rich history and vibrant culture. This partnership represents the ideal intersection of sport and culture, and we are eager to contribute to a franchise that extends beyond the field.”
The initial kit showcases a black foundation adorned with the NOCTA star pattern in gold. The jersey style includes the club’s distinctive orange and green accents on the sleeves, enhancing the Arancio, Nero, Verde trio. Gold details are found on the emblem, sponsor, and trim along the shirt. The home kits for Venezia FC 24/25 will be up for sale online at a future date.
