As a gamer with over three decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the upcoming Amazon Prime series “Secret Level” has piqued my interest immensely! Having grown up playing classics like PAC-MAN and Mega Man, it’s truly heartening to see these beloved titles being given a fresh, modern spin.
Based on the creators of Netflix’s Love, Death & Robots, with contributions from Deadpool’s Tim Miller, Amazon Prime will debut a TV show that serves as a heartfelt tribute to the world of gaming.
At Gamescom’s Open Night Live event, Miller made a heartfelt announcement about the unveiling of the new level called “Secret Level.”
The highly anticipated “Secret Level” is scheduled for release in December 2024, showcasing a whopping 15 or more live adaptations from popular video games such as “God of War,” “Sifu,” “Armored Core,” and many others.

Miller referred to Secret Level as a “tribute to the world of gaming“, and Amazon Prime Video describes it as an “innovative gaming anthology series“, promising that numerous well-known game titles will be showcased for fans to enjoy.
It seems that each episode, or sometimes within a single hour, characters might find themselves jumping into various video games, reminiscent of Wreck-It Ralph’s adventures but with a more adult twist.
The Secret Level series has been in development for three years and will feature 15 episodes.
The full list of game adaptations consists of Armored Core, Concord, Crossfire, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, Honor of Kings, Mega Man, New World: Aeternum, PAC-MAN, PlayStation (Highlighting various PlayStation Studios beloved entities), Sifu, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, Unreal Tournament, and Warhammer 40,000
Miller boasts several game adaptations in his portfolio, with the latest being the somewhat controversial Borderlands movie, as well as a few more successful ones such as Sonic the Hedgehog.
“We f**king love video games,” Miller said in his reveal, noting the dozens of trailers his Blur studio has created. Secret Level will premiere on December 10 on Prime Video. Given Blur’s work on franchises like Call of Duty, it could be the first season of many more to come.
