As a lifestyle expert with a penchant for celebrity encounters, I must confess that my meeting with Shah Rukh Khan at his abode, Mannat, remains one of the most enchanting experiences of my professional journey. The man exudes an aura of humility and warmth, even amidst the opulence that surrounds him.

On the Inside the Mind with Rushabh podcast, RJ J Man recounted his visit to Shah Rukh Khan’s home, Mannat, where the esteemed actor divulged an engaging tale about offering an apology to a well-known filmmaker.

SRK confided in RJ that during his initial years in showbiz, he made a blunder by asking a well-known director for a script, which the director found disrespectful. SRK’s mentor Aziz Mishra advised him against it, and this led Khan to call and apologize. However, when the director asked, “So, you’re working on my film?”, Shah Rukh Khan replied, “I called to apologize, but I’m not signed up for your project yet.”

Additionally, RJ J Man reminisced about his entrance into Mannat. He explained that there was a structure at the rear of Mannat which housed a stairway that led to Shah Rukh’s study. He described the stairs as being dark and made of wood, with glass on one side, and they ended at a dark brown door with a shiny handle. Upon entering the room, Man found himself face-to-face with numerous of Shah Rukh’s awards showcased in a display case.

“I spotted Shah Rukh Khan at home, casually dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, holding black coffee. He greeted us with ‘Hey guys’, leaving me in awe of his star quality even off-stage. Notably, the next question he asked was if I had eaten anything,” the radio jockey shared, further revealing this casual encounter.

Later on, RJ disclosed that Shah Rukh owned an uncommon figurine of Batman sitting casually in his study. Being a fan of Batman himself, they engaged in a lengthy conversation about it with the star. On a more humorous side, the man parted ways with the actor by keeping one of his cigarettes, which he claims to have kept until now.

In terms of his professional life, Shah Rukh Khan recently appeared in Rajkumar Hirani’s film titled “Dunki”. At present, he is preparing to start filming for an upcoming movie called “King” where he will work alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma.
