Ashanti and Nelly shared that they had their first baby together, which the singer revealed on Wednesday. This joyful news follows shortly after they announced both their pregnancy and engagement a few months back.

A spokesperson for the pair shared with People magazine that their newborn son’s name is Kareem Kenkaide Haynes, and he made his arrival on the 18th of July, 2024.
Back in April, I was thrilled to learn that Ashanti and Nelly had some exciting news: they announced they were expecting a child together, and also revealed they were engaged! This will be Kareem, Nelly’s fifth child, and Ashanti’s first. Reminiscing on their history, they dated back in 2003, but called it quits in 2013.
