Amir Satyaveer Singh, assistant director to Rajkumar Hirani on Dunki, will be directing this series. Additionally, the series has been named Pritam Pedro, after the characters portrayed by Arshad Warsi and Vikrant Massey. The show is set to premiere on Disney + Hotstar.

Interestingly, it’s been hinted that the talented Rajkumar Hirani might even direct a few episodes himself!
Delving deeper into the narrative of Pritam Pedro’s character arc, it was revealed that Arshad Warsi portrays a seasoned police officer named Pedro, who tackles crimes in a traditional manner. On the other hand, Pritam, played by Vikrant Massey, is a youthful cop with a knack for technology, employing modern tools to crack cases. The series primarily focuses on these two distinct characters as they find themselves paired up, collaborating to solve crimes.
In November, Pritam Pedro plans to begin filming in Goa. The production crew previously scouted locations in North India before settling on Goa as their primary shooting location. Some scenes will also be filmed in Mumbai and Pune.
Regarding his professional endeavors, Arshad Warsi is set to appear in “Jolly LLB 3” alongside Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi, which is scheduled for release on April 10, 2025, under the direction of Subhash Kapoor.
Currently, Vikrant Massey is appearing in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba with Taapsee Pannu and Sunny Kaushal. Following this, he will feature in Netflix’s upcoming crime thriller Sector 36 alongside Deepak Dobriyal.
