Travis Scott – DAYS BEFORE RODEO (10th Anniversary)

As a dedicated fan, it’s been a decade since Travis Scott first unveiled his groundbreaking “DAYS BEFORE RODEO” album. I never thought the day would come, but now, this iconic sophomore mixtape has made its way onto streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. Originally released for free on August 18, 2014, the 12-track masterpiece is available in its original form, complete with hits such as “Drugs You Should Try It,” “Don’t Play,” “Mamacita” (featuring Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan), “Skyfall” (also featuring Thugger), and “Backyard.”

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Jessie Reyez has teamed up with some heavyweight artists, including Big Sean, Daniel Caesar, and 6lack. Doechii – “BOOM BAP”

Even though Doechii’s album is coming out next week, she isn’t taking a break from her Swamp Session series. In fact, she just released her final freestyle track, “Boom Bap,” which will be featured on Alligator Bites Never Heal. She even hinted at one more Swamp Session before the mixtape drops, saying, “Can we do one last Swamp Session before the mixtape drops? I don’t usually give my haters any attention, but this one is for you… CHOKE.”

Jaylen Brown x A$AP FERG – “Just Do It”

In an unexpected turn of events, this collaboration wasn’t something I had anticipated for 2024, and it seemed the same for Jaylen Brown. Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, he mentioned that making this song with A$AP Ferg, titled “Just Do It,” was not in his plans. However, the Boston athlete demonstrates his versatility by holding his own throughout the nearly four-minute track. The collaboration is accompanied by a visually striking music video featuring both artists.

Mura Masa – Curve 1

Following his earlier announcement this month, Mura Masa’s Curve 1 has come to fruition. Marking his debut as an independent artist, Curve 1 is deeply inspired by the DJ’s personal experiences. “Curve 1 represents a mindset I’ve been nurturing in my private life: tune out,” he stated. “In today’s world, music as entertainment often feels overly commercialized and excessively emotional in terms of constructing a narrative around albums and artists. My aim was to minimize this as much as possible, allowing the music to forge its own significance in the lives of those who resonate with it.”
