Kriti Sanon says she still has 'joint account' with father; talks about making film choices without worrying about finances

As an ardent admirer of Kriti Sanon, I find myself consistently captivated by her journey in Bollywood and the grace with which she handles her success. Her recent interview with Nikhil Kamath on YouTube was nothing short of insightful, providing a glimpse into her upbringing, film choices, and personal growth.

In her Bollywood career spanning a decade, Kriti Sanon has managed to be one of the most successful actresses of current times. While Kriti was praised for her performances in female-oriented roles in Bareilly Ki Barfi and Mimi, she has also been a part of big commercial movies like Dilwale and Housefull 4. The actress had two back-to-back blockbuster movies Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Crew earlier this year. Kriti, who continues to entertain the audience, recently revealed that she has a joint account with her father, Rahul Sanon and also discussed her film choices.

In a recent conversation with Nikhil Kamath on his YouTube show, actress Kriti Sanon discussed her family history and the fact that she began her career by choice.

“Kriti expressed that she considers herself fortunate, despite her middle-class upbringing. She never felt compelled to work due to financial necessity because her family’s resources allowed for other options. She shares a joint account with her father, unaware of the inflow and outflow of funds.”

In an open conversation, the actress Kriti spoke about finding tranquility and acceptance as she navigates the Hindi film industry. She admitted to going through periods of uncertainty, where she struggled to find her place. The star of Mimi shared that she was grappling with making the right movie choices while simultaneously assessing if she felt comfortable on set or if she merely seemed to be drifting along.

Kriti openly acknowledged her participation in major productions, driven by their potential at the box office and high-profile star cast. She prefers a mix of substantial and less demanding roles. The actress candidly mentioned that these big projects often failed to deliver as expected. Without disclosing the title, Kriti expressed a lack of enthusiasm during filming for a particular movie.

In simpler terms, the actress from The Crew explained that she’s learned and grown as she made decisions on her own, discovering what is beneficial for her and what isn’t. Kriti described peace as a space that allows her to freely choose activities that she desires.

Previously, TopMob revealed that Kriti Sanon confided she had experienced feelings of frustration due to a lack of promising roles in her acting career. In our conversation with her, Kriti disclosed that during this period, she felt quite uneasy and believed she possessed greater abilities than what was being showcased through her on-screen performances. “I became agitated because I thought, ‘I know I’m capable; I know I can excel, but the chance isn’t presenting itself to me,'” Kriti revealed.

In 2014, Kriti Sanon first appeared on screen alongside Tiger Shroff in Heropanti. Since then, she has become known for films such as Luka Chuppi, Raabta, Panipat, Bachchhan Paandey, the sequel to Heropanti (Heropanti 2), Bhediya, Shehzada, and others. This year, Kriti was seen alongside Kareena Kapoor and Tabu in Crew. Prior to that, she starred opposite Shahid Kapoor in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.

Actress Kriti Sanon is getting ready for an upcoming movie titled “Do Patti.” Notably, she will be collaborating again with her co-star from “Dilwale,” the esteemed actress Kajol. For the first time, Kriti is venturing into production with this intriguing thriller, and she’s doing so alongside renowned screenwriter Kanika Dhillon.

Kriti’s mom, Geeta Sanon, works as a university physics professor, whereas her dad, Rahul Sanon, is a certified accountant. In the family, Kriti’s younger sibling, Nupur Sanon, follows acting as a career.
