The Indie Italian Label Dominating the Red Carpet

As a fashion enthusiast and a connoisseur of all things stylish, I am absolutely thrilled by the emergence of Giuliva Heritage on the menswear scene! This brand is a breath of fresh air, offering a unique blend of vintage charm and modern coolness that’s making waves among A-listers.

In his own words, Gerardo Cavaliere, a co-founder of Giuliva Heritage, expresses that when he’s creating designs, it’s a reflection of his unique perspective, which has catapulted their menswear line to be one of the most sought-after brands for today’s leading actors.

“I’ve found my inspiration,” I’d say, referring to Cavalier. To me, he embodies the charm of an Italian neorealism heartthrob blended with the charisma of Dimes Square – a captivating combo that I translate for my high-profile clients. For the April premiere of Riple, Andrew Scott sported a playfully roguish look in an acid green shawl-lapel suit and low-scoop-neck tank, while Diego Boneta oozed sex appeal in a Giuliva Heritage ultrawide peak lapel suit with an open silky shirt.

Giuliva Heritage is similar to classic clothing, but it tells a tale tailored for today’s gentleman, according to Baker. When the designer personally invests themselves and is passionate about their label, it exudes an undeniable allure that only increases one’s desire for the product.

Lately, Jeremy Allen White, Nicholas Galitzine, Jonathan Bailey, and Drew Starkey from “Outer Banks” have been seen sizzling in Giuliva Heritage’s stylish separates. The brand gained significant attention during the 2022 Venice Film Festival when Chris Pine made an entrance off a vaporetto wearing a casual ivory shirt, flamboyant red pleated pants, and a sophisticated navy double-breasted jacket with a touch of dandyism.

Margherita Cardelli, co-founder of Giuliva and a luxury consultant, confirms that the designs of their brand truly reflect Gerardo Cavaliere’s real-life persona. She married Cavaliere, who transitioned from law to tailoring, in 2017, and together they established the brand the same year. The label, designed in a Rome atelier and handcrafted in Naples, first presented women’s clothing (worn by celebrities such as Meghan Markle, Sandra Oh, and Rachel McAdams), followed by men’s styles. Cardelli expresses her admiration for seeing how stylists and talent bring Gerardo’s vision to life.

Giuliva Heritage’s bond with Hollywood grew naturally as stylists contacted them following encounters with the brand on Instagram. According to Cardelli, genuine relationships and unique designs have been instrumental in Giuliva Heritage gaining recognition amidst the sea of corporate labels and heavily sponsored red carpets. “We don’t possess the resources of large luxury brands to bribe people or provide numerous options,” says Cardelli, further stating, “In most cases, we ask talent to wear an entire ensemble, and 99% of the time, we succeed in making that happen.”

Cardelli and Cavaliere are getting ready for autumn, which includes award season, as well as handling requests from celebrities. They’re also arranging a string of pop-ups and trunk shows in the U.S., starting in September. “It’s fascinating to observe how many artists today choose to make a bold statement with unique pieces that truly reflect their individuality,” remarks Cardelli.
