As a die-hard fan who has been following Emily in Paris since its inception, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about Emily’s next adventure in Rome! The first half of season four left us on a dramatic cliffhanger, and I’ve been eagerly waiting to see how Emily navigates her complicated romantic entanglements.
In the next part of Netflix’s series “Emily in Paris,” we find Emily heading to Rome instead of Paris. The trailer for the fourth season’s second installation was unveiled on Monday, showing actress Lily Collins preparing for a new European journey.
“Following the tumultuous wedding fiasco between Camille and Gabriel, Emily is in a whirlwind of emotions: She finds herself with deep feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s ex is pregnant, and Alfie’s suspicions about them have been validated. Meanwhile, in her professional life, Sylvie must tackle a difficult problem from the past to secure her marriage, while the team at Agence Grateau experiences staff changes. As Mindy and the band gear up for Eurovision, they find themselves in a tight spot when funds become scarce, forcing them to adopt a more frugal approach.”
The statement reads, “The announcement goes on to say that Emily and Gabriel have an unquestionable connection while striving for a Michelin star, but two major secrets could shatter their aspirations. As old habits collide with fresh difficulties, Emily finds herself attracted to a possible new love interest… as well as a different city.”
The first half of Emily in Paris season four became available on Netflix on August 15th, with the second half scheduled for release on September 12th. A fresh trailer hints at more of the entertaining interpersonal dynamics and stylish clothing that has made this show so popular among its dedicated fans. Besides Lily Collins, the cast includes Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount.
Fans of the show won’t be taken aback when Emily goes to Italy, as they’ve already witnessed her preparing for this journey during the first half of season four. At the L.A. premiere on the same day, Collins shared with The Hollywood Reporter that “being in Rome was truly awe-inspiring.”
She expressed that wrapping up this season with the team was exceptionally delightful, as it seemed like a vacation. The atmosphere there is incredibly inviting and steeped in history, the streets are filled with tales from the past, and the cuisine is simply delectable. It was truly enjoyable to travel from Paris to Rome since you remain within Europe, yet you’re still immersed in the enchanting romance and passion that Europe offers, while experiencing a distinct piece of history, which made it incredibly entertaining.
