Julia Garner Senses Evil Forces in Trailer for ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ Prequel Film ‘Apartment 7A’

As a seasoned gamer who’s been through countless horror games, I can confidently say that Julia Garner‘s new role in ‘Apartment 7A’ is sending chills down my virtual spine! Having survived countless virtual hauntings and digital terrors, I can tell you that this real-life horror prequel to ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ promises to be a nail-biting experience.

In the initial sneak peek of the upcoming Paramount+ series, “Apartment 7A,” Julia Garner’s anticipated new residence doesn’t quite meet her expectations as portrayed in the trailer for the prequel to “Rosemary’s Baby.”

On September 27th, I’ll be eagerly streaming the psychological horror masterpiece directed by Natalie Erika James. This chilling production boasts an impressive ensemble cast, featuring Dianne Wiest, Kevin McNally, Jim Sturgess, Marli Siu, Andrew Buchan, Rosy McEwen, and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith. I can hardly wait!

7A Apartment is centered around Terry Gionoffrio (played by Garner), a budding dancer in bustling New York City who experiences an injury and shifts residence to a posh apartment complex called the Bramford, shared with a wealthy pair (Wiest and McNally). Following a Broadway producer’s (Sturgess) proposition of stardom, Terry encounters an enigmatic night she can hardly recall, causing her to wonder if some malevolent entity haunts her abode and the building as a whole.

In the trailer, you can hear Garner express a sense of unease, as her character’s worries about certain individuals seem to grow increasingly significant.

James (known for “Relic”) directed the film, which was penned with Christian White and Skylar James from a script inspired by Ira Levin’s 1967 horror novel, “Rosemary’s Baby.” This movie, titled “Apartment 7A,” is actually a prequel to Roman Polanski’s 1968 film adaptation of the same-titled book. In the original 1968 movie, the character Terry Gionoffrio was played by actress Angela Dorian.

The creators behind the show “Apartment 7A” are John Krasinski, Allyson Seeger, Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller.

Garner received three Emmy Awards for her groundbreaking portrayal of Ruth Langmore on the Netflix crime show “Ozark”. Next year, she will appear in two upcoming films titled “Wolf Man” and “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”.

She has also worked on shows like The Americans, Maniac, and Inventing Anna, as well as films such as The Assistant and The Royal Hotel.
