As an ardent fan of Rajkummar Rao, I find myself captivated by his journey in Bollywood and the insights he shares about his craft. It’s fascinating to see how he reflects on his past performances and how they would have been different if given another chance. The maturity and growth in his thought process are evident, as he gracefully acknowledges that every actor grows with time.
Currently, Rajkummar Rao is enjoying the triumph of his horror-comedy film, “Stree 2.” Previously, in 2022, Varun Dhawan was featured in a movie of the same genre, “Bhediya,” both directed by Amar Kaushik. Therefore, when asked about whether “Bhediya 2” or “Stree 2” would be released first, the actor provided a clear answer.
During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, actor Srikanth expressed his confusion about the matter initially, but later hinted that Bhediya 2 could potentially be released next. He explained this by stating that while Bhediya 2 has not been confirmed yet, Stree 2 has been announced. It seems the sequel to the Varun Dhawan-led comedy horror film, Stree, might hit theaters before the third installment of Stree makes its appearance.
When inquired about any updates regarding “Stree 3,” the actor disclosed that director Amar Kaushik has a concept in mind for the movie. He further mentioned that the filmmaker has already prepared a fundamental idea, stating confidently, “It will definitely be made and we’ll strive to make it even better than ‘Stree’ parts 1 and 2.”
Additionally, in Stree 2, you’ll find Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana playing pivotal roles. Interestingly, this film propelled him to the top of the charts, but it was his role in Shahid directed by Hansal Mehta that earned him a National Award for Best Actor (Shahid). However, during TopMob’s Masterclass, he openly shared that if given the opportunity today, he would approach the 2012 movie differently.
Rajkummar expressed his thoughts by saying, “With every movie I make, I grow as a person. I’ve lived more life and gained more experience over the years. This has certainly influenced my thought process, making me more mature. I believe that this is a natural progression all actors go through. If asked to reflect on their past work, they would likely say they wish they could do it now, knowing what they know today. Things might have turned out differently, but only time will tell if that’s for the better or not.”
In his professional life, you’ll catch him in an upcoming video titled “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala” along with Triptii Dimri. This dramatic movie is set to hit theaters on October 11, 2024.
