Green states, “I’ve had an incredible partnership with Jason Blum and his crew, who’ve taught me all about the worth and appeal of independent horror films. While I don’t plan on sticking exclusively to horror movies for my entire career, I believe I can utilize many of these same strategies to create films that are both financially successful and creatively freeing in other genres. It seems Blumhouse isn’t exploring this with comedy, and it appears nobody else is either.”
