As a longtime admirer of Wayman Deon and Micah McDonald, otherwise known as Wayman + Micah, I can hardly contain my excitement for their 10-year styling anniversary! Their journey from humble beginnings to the top echelons of Hollywood fashion is nothing short of inspiring.

Today marks the beginning of New York Fashion Week, however, celebrations commenced prematurely with numerous parties scattered throughout Manhattan last night, many for special occasions. Notably, the dynamic duo Wayman Deon and Micah McDonald, commonly recognized as Wayman + Micah, held a lively party at The Roof at Public Hotel to celebrate their decade-long career in styling.

Deon and McDonald hosted an exciting gathering to commemorate a significant achievement, inviting clients, friends, and fashion enthusiasts alike. The event featured premium drinks from Don Julio, tunes spun by DJ Jash Jay, and entertainment courtesy of their agency, The Only Agency. Notable attendees such as Taraji P. Henson, Tiffany Haddish, Jordan Chiles, among others, danced the night away long after midnight.

The fashion team, boasting an impressive list of clients like Colman Domingo, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Tessa Thompson, Aja Naomi King, Jodie Turner-Smith, Regina King, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Jon Batiste, Olivia Munn and others, is often recognized as the best styling team in Hollywood by The Hollywood Reporter. They graced the cover of the 2024 Stylists of the Year issue in March, alongside Oscar-nominated Colman Domingo, who turned heads during awards season with his chic outfits, just like eventual winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph did.

As a budding team in the gaming world, I once shared with Vanity Fair my ambition for something extraordinary, unprecedented in our journey. It was an instant bond we shared. McDonald echoed this sentiment, stating we never aimed to leave our signature on our clients, but rather let their unique brilliance shine through. We’ve never been about imposing our ‘Wayman + Micah’ brand; instead, our passion and pride lie in creatively enhancing each client’s individual potential and bringing out the best version of themselves.
