Macaulay Culkin Is Hitting the Road This Holiday Season With a Special Screening of ‘Home Alone’

As a gamer who grew up in the ’90s, I can’t help but feel a wave of nostalgia upon hearing about Macaulay Culkin‘s “Home Alone: A Nostalgic Night.” It seems like just yesterday when I was huddled around our family television, popcorn in hand, eagerly awaiting Kevin McCallister’s next clever trap to foil those pesky burglars.

Macaulay Culkin is marking the holiday season by paying tribute to one of his most well-known roles. Starting in late November, the former young star will host “Macaulay Culkin’s Nostalgic Night: Home Alone,” a tour that takes place throughout the country. This event includes a special showing of the beloved Christmas film, followed by a discussion moderated by someone else and an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

On the Today show, Carson Daly disclosed that during the interview segment, Macaulay Culkin will reflect on his time filming and recollect special moments from the set, as well as discuss various aspects of the movie itself.

Macaulay Culkin embarks on a tour starting from Buffalo, NY on November 30th. The tour will take him through cities like Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio, New Jersey, Illinois, Massachusetts and others. Ticket pre-sales kick off next week, with the general sale commencing on September 13th. Additionally, a limited number of VIP tickets are up for grabs which offer a post-show photo opportunity with Culkin.

On more than one occasion, Culkin has gone back to his iconic character. In 2015, the actor brought out a parody named “Just Me Home Alone“, where he portrayed an adult version of his Home Alone character, Kevin. This time around, Kevin was a troubled rideshare driver who, when questioned about ignoring calls from his mom, disclosed his childhood traumas as the reason.

It’s Christmas time, and it feels like Christmas indeed, as your entire family goes on vacation – everyone, even your eight-year-old son! Leaving you all alone in the house for a whole week. During that time, I had to protect my home from two potentially dangerous intruders. I was just a child back then.

Adult Kevin then says he still has nightmares about “this bald weirdo dude chasing me around.”
