Call Me Bae: Ananya Panday shares she had to skip shooting for 'cute transition reel' midway for THIS reason; 'It was fun while it lasted'

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for fashion and trends, I must say Ananya Panday is undeniably making waves in the entertainment industry. Her recent foray into OTT with Call Me Bae has not only showcased her acting prowess but also her impeccable style sense. The variety of outfits she donned throughout the series are a testament to her versatility and fashion-forward approach.

Recently, Ananya Panday launched her OTT premiere with “Call Me Bae”. This TV series tells the story of a wealthy fashion enthusiast who finds herself struggling financially in Mumbai after being disowned by her family. The film directed by Collin D. Cunha is set to inspire everyone with its compelling narrative, and viewers will undoubtedly be envious of the stylish outfits worn by the actress. Additionally, Ananya started creating a humorous video for her social media platforms, but when she found there were too many fashionable looks, she decided to stop.

Minutes ago, the Dream Girl 2 actress took to her Instagram and dropped a ‘cute transition reel’ from the sets of Call Me Bae. The clip shows her doing an adorable finger-snapping pose in different outfits. But not all of them are in the video because she dropped the idea of filming the short video as she thought there were too many looks to incorporate.

Regarding the video, Ananya Panday wrote, “Initially, I started filming a charming transition reel for all my different looks using the hashtag #CallMeBae. However, we found there were too many options and gave up. It was enjoyable while it lasted. What’s your preferred #BAE look? The #CallMeBae series is available on @primevideo.

Take a look:

In a special interview with TopMob, Panday discussed her show available on Amazon Prime Video alongside her on-screen companions Niharika Dutt and Muskkaan Jaferi. During the relaxed conversation, she reminisced about the response from her real friends, Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor to the show. She shared their feedback, saying “Yes, they adored it. They can hardly wait to see it.

She was asked if there’s rivalry among them, to which she replied, “Shanaya and I have been friends since before either of us were born – literally, I used to sleep on Shanaya’s mother’s baby bump! So, our friendship predates any competition. It’s more like family. People might think we discuss the industry a lot, but actually, we talk about all sorts of things. We’re currently fascinated by the Olympics and Uorfi’s show, to be precise.

In addition to being unspecified, the eight-episode program features Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur as its stars.
